BANGKOK, Dec 24 (TNA) – The Department of Public Relations held a closing ceremony to mark the end of the ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchange 2019 and an award presentation ceremony for a short video competition.
Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office of Thailand Tewan Liptapallop and Gao Jiamin, China’s Vice Minister of National Radio and Television Administration attended the ceremony.
Tewan said since February this year, cooperation between China and Asean countries brought about knowledge exchange in various aspects, particularly in technical know-how as well as strengthening media network in the region.
Thai and China ministers together with Lao Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Savankhone Razmountry presented three awards for the ASEAN-China Short Video competition.
The winner of the Best Short Video of the Year is from China while contestants from Indonesia and Singapore won the Best Visual Effect of the Year and the Best Shirt Story of the Year respectively.
Cultural performances included a Thai Khon masked dance drama and a puppet show from Shanxi. (TNA)
