BANGKOK, Nov 19 (TNA) – The Bureau of the Royal Household stated that Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn suffered from coronary artery disease and was admitted to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
The bureau on Nov 18 quoted royal doctors as reporting that Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn had chest pain and her pulses increased. Therefore, doctors proposed the princess stay at the hospital on Nov 18 for the comprehensive examination of her heart.
Coronary angiography showed a narrowed coronary artery but royal doctors had not recommended angioplasty yet.
The doctors were prescribing medications for the princess and recommended she remain at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital for further treatment and refrain from performing her functions. (TNA)
