CHONBURI, Oct 21 (TNA) – Members from eight countries
join the 22nd ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA) Congress held in Pattaya,
Thailand, to exchange information on various aspects of valuation.
Thai Deputy Finance Minister Santi Prompat presided over the
opening ceremony of the meeting at Dusit Thani Pattaya on Monday.
Kitti Patpongpibul, president of the AVA, said AVA members
had joined the annual meeting to share information on in-depth studies and
research into the various aspects of valuation, looking forward to more
international interaction with other global, regional and national valuations
organizations,
The AVA was established in 1981 by valuers from the ASEAN
countries to expand economic and cultural relations and serve the public with
valuation services.
The theme of this year’s congress is smart valuation, aimed
at addressing the need to adapt with technological advancement and new market
demand for valuation standards and practices. (TNA)
