CHIANG MAI, Oct 14 (TNA) – Tourists flocked into the popular mountain peaks in the northern provinces of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai to feel cool weather and take photos of their memorable vacations.
In Chiang Rai, many tourists visited Doi Pha Tang mountain in Wiang Kaen district where the temperature measured 17 degrees Celsius.
They admired the sea of mist and took their photos with the beautiful scenery especially at Chong Khao Khad, Pratu Pha Bong and Noen 102 where the sea of mist was clearly seen.
In Chiang Mai, huge crowds went to the peak of Doi Inthanon mountain that is the highest place of the country.
The lowest temperature there was at 10 degrees Celsius while the temperature at its packed Kew Mae Pan viewpoint was at 12 degrees Celsius.
Doi Inthanon received more than 7,000 visitors this month and the management of the Doi Inthanon National Park believed more than 1 million people would have visited the park this year. (TNA)
