TRANG, Sept 12 (TNA) – Hairdressers offer free service at
Trang Hospital in southern Thailand, giving patients both good looks and
hygiene.
The group of professionals, Volunteer Hairdressers Club of
Trang, along with vocational students brought their workmanship of haircutting,
grooming and hair styling to the Hospital on Thursday.
Many of them skipped work to join the volunteer service for
about 100 patients, under a permission of the Trang Hospital management.
Prasert Damthip, head of the Club, said his team had given
volunteer service for five years but it was their first visit to this hospital.
The patients who receive treatment in general ward lauded
the club members for this charitable deed.
Most of them chose low-maintenance extra short haircuts.
Prasert said the Club planned to make regular monthly visit
the hospital to provide hair cutting and styling service.(TNA)
