BANGKOK, Oct 12 (TNA) – A woman aged 72 died while undergoing a facial thread lift at a clinic in Town In Town area in Bangkok late Thursday night.
Police said the death happened at about 10pm at the clinic on Srivara Road in Plabpla sub-district of Wang Thonglang district. The doctor who provided the service told police he had a licence to do so.
Police quoted the doctor as saying that during the operation, a problem occurred to the blood circulation of the elderly woman and the doctor believed that she was allergic to an anesthetic agent.
Police detained the doctor and his nurse for questioning and planned to press charges later.
Police had yet to find out if the clinic had an operating licence. (TNA)
