BANGKOK, Aug 9 (TNA) – Thailand logged 19,603 new COVID-19 cases and 149 new fatalities, according to the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration.
Of the new cases, 19,290 were infections among general people and 313 were among prison inmates.
Over the past 24 hours, 19,819 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals while 214,421people received treatment for COVID-19 at hospitals. The accumulated COVID-19 cases rose to 776,108 and the death toll increased to 6,353.
Meanwhile, the Chulabhorn Royal Academy issued its third invitation for general people to book Sinopharm vaccinations against COVID-19 on Aug 11. The academy planned to receive the bookings at 8.18am via https://sinopharm.cra.ac.th and the CRA SINOP app. Registrants can choose their hospital and schedule for the vaccination at 2pm on the same day.
