BANGKOK, Sept 20 (TNA) – Four people were injured and a motorcycle was damaged slightly when an explosion was heard during anti-government protesters’ car mob on Sept 19.
The incident happened in front of Trok Phai Sing To community opposite the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on Ratchadaphisek Road in Klong Toey district, Bangkok, in the afternoon of Sept 19.
At the explosion site, police found scattered PVC pipe fragments and broken mirrors. Two side-view mirrors of a motorcycle were shattered. A water pipe of the community was burst and wooden doors of houses there were damaged.
Meanwhile, at Nang Loeng intersection near Government House at 7.30pm, anti-government protesters threw firecrackers and fireworks at crowd control policemen. Police applied tear gas and rubber bullets and placed cargo containers to control them. (TNA)
