KRABI, DEC 6 (TNA)- Miss Universe 2018 contestants take a
two-day excursion tour to Thailand’s southern Krabi province, taking them to
tourism highlights of the Andaman Sea.
Forty five contestants and current Miss Universe Demi-Leigh
Nel-Peters of South Africa arrived at Krabi International Airport Thursday
morning. They were warmly welcomed by
Krabi Governor Kitibhodi Prawit and a cheering crowd.
The beauty queens are among 95 contestants in Miss Universe
2018 which takes place on December 17 at Impact Muang Thong Thani convention
center. The others have taken tour in
other parts of Thailand.
Governor Kittibhodi urged the people of Krabi to be the good
host for the Miss Universe delegation.
The group’s first duty on Thursday is video shooting on Koh
Hong Island. They will then be hosted a
dinner party in Krabi city.
On Friday, Miss Universe contestants will attend ecological
conservation campaign and join the locals in batik garment-making.
The final round on December 17 will have the highest number
of Miss Universe contestants, to be broadcast to 170 countries around the
