BANGKOK, July 12 (TNA) – World Economic Forum (WEF)
founder Klaus Schwab met with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha at Government House on Friday to discuss world economic outlook and cooperation.
Professor Schwab expressed his willingness to extend
partnership for cooperation and development with the kingdom.
He praised the Thai government for carrying out policies to
adopt digital economy and improve the country’s competitiveness, according to
Thai officials.
Schwap said he wished the new Thai government a smooth and
successful performance.
Gen Prayut who just began his second term as prime minister
told the WEF chief executive officer that the new government was determined to
continue policies and strategies for sustainable social and economic
development.
Professor Schwab also invited the prime minister to attend
the 50th WEF conference in Davos, Switzerland, in January next year.(TNA)
