BANGKOK, Jan 24 (TNA) – Rubber latex bras produced by a
rubber producer cooperative in Thailand’s southern Trang province are now in
high demand in China, apart from latex pillow and mattress.
The cooperative of rubber farmers in Ban Nong Krok village
has thrived in processed rubber business, earing over Bt17 million in revenue
from exporting rubber mattress and pillow to China last year.
Manus Muadmuang, manager of the cooperative, said Chinese
buyers had placed orders for the cooperative’s latest product, high-quality
latex bras.
The demand went as high as 20,000 pieces a day but the
cooperative had the production capacity of only 1,000 a day, he said.(TNA)
