BANGKOK, May 15 (TNA) — The Bank of Thailand (BoT) has opened its BOT COVID-19 website that gathers information about financial assistance for parties affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
BoT assistant governor Chantawan Sujaritkul said the site presented assistance measures from the BOT and other financial institutions as the BOT was offering help to people and operators affected by COVID-19 and financial institutions were helping their customers.
The website let viewers conveniently search for updated assistance measures and study their details. It also shared contacts of financial institutions and tips on financial transactions in compliance with social distancing amid the COVID-19 crisis, she said.
The BOT COVID-19 website at www.bot.orth/covid19 gathers assistance measures for small debtors and small and medium-sized enterprises, measures concerning bond markets, updates on soft loans from BOT and financial institutions’ aid for debtors, academic articles, interviews and infographics. (TNA)
