BANGKOK, Feb 19 (TNA) – Health and transport agencies in
several provinces in Thailand step up coronavirus 2019 preventive measures.
Health screenings at Thai-Malaysian border crossings in the southern
Songkhla province have been beefed up.
Disease control officers are dispatched at five checkpoints at the
border, seaport and airport.
All arriving passengers and travelers have been checked with
thermos scanner and must report the travelling records.
There has been no covid-19 case in the southern province.
All hospitals have prepared emergency response procedures to handle
communicable disease situation.
In Chiang Mai, local administrative agency has sprayed
organic disinfectant at bus stations. It
also provides health care leaflets to passengers and commuters in order to
prevent themselves. (TNA)
