BANGKOK, August 23 (TNA) – A team of Thai students departed
for Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Friday to represent the country in the ABU
Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (Robocon) 2019.
The team, named “the Attempt”, from Dhurakij Pundit
University won the MCOT-ABU Robot Contest (Robocon Thailand 2019) held in Bangkok
in June and then it qualified for an international contest in Mongolia.
The Attempt team members will compete with 17 teams from 16
countries in the contest that takes place this weekend under the theme “Great
Urtuu” of Mongolian tradition.
ABU-Robocon is an initiative of ABU as a platform for
students of its member countries to develop their innovative skills in the
field of robotics. (TNA)
