Entertainment venues, allowed to extend operating hours during the New Year festival until 4:00 AM. must have the proper licenses and comply with the law, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

The Cabinet approved a draft ministerial regulation to extend the operating hours of entertainment venues, nightclubs and bars until 4 a.m. in five tourist destinations including Bangkok, Phuket, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui in Surat Thani.

The extension of entertainment venues’ opetion hours will be proposed to the Cabinet by December 15, said Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
