BANGKOK, Aug 2 (TNA) – Three suspected bomb incidents were reported on Friday morning at a government complex, a BTS station outside the Mahanakhon skyscraper and an alley in Suan Luang district, where two street sweepers were wounded.
The first incident occurred at Soi RamaIX 57/1 at 8.30 am. when a homemade like bomb was found. Two Suan Luang district workers, who were cleaning the alley were wounded and rushed to hospital.
At 8.30am., two explosions were reported and some vehicles were damaged. A witness said the bomb like sounds were heard from the bushes under the Chong Nonsi BTS station in Sathorn disitrict. The area has been cordoned off but the road remains opened to traffic.
At 9 am., three bomb-like sounds were heard from the bushes outside the Chang Wattana Government Complex. Officials inspected the site and the suspicious objects looked like remote-controlled bombs. (TNA)
