BANGKOK, April 25 (TNA) – Thai embassies, consulates
and Thai permanent missions are prepared to organize activities and exhibitions
related to the coronation ceremonies for Thai people, living overseas in May.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Bussadee Santipitaks said 98
embassies, consulates and permanent representatives of Thailand will organize related
activities and religious ceremonies to celebrate the coronation ceremonies from
May 3-4.
Volunteering activities and community service will be also
held all month long.
On May 6, Thai embassies and consulates worldwide
will organize candle lighting ceremonies to offer blessing for His Majesty the
King simultaneously with the rituals Thailand. The coronation ceremonies will
be broadcast live to Thai people, attending the activities.
Exhibitions on the coronation ceremonies will be held
both in Thai and English overseas in May. In Bangkok, it is being held at the foreign
ministry from April 24 to May 10 and at the Department of Consular Affairs on
Chaeng Wattana Road from May 1-31. (TNA)
