BANGKOK, March 26 (TNA) – The Future Forward Party asked the Election Commission (EC) to reveal the electoral data and to investigate irregularities in voting counting at controversial constituencies.
FFP party executive, registrar and party-list candidate on Tuesday filed a request to the EC chairman, Ittiporn Boonpracong to disclose the constituency-based electoral data, the number of eligible voters, voter turnouts and the number of ballots sent to each polling units nationwide to allay doubts concerning many irregularities.
The party asked the EC to investigate the company, responsible for electronic connection system to disseminating the election data to the media.
It said the EC had received the budget to organize the election, so the media should not have to pay for buying the information, released from the EC, particularly for data connection.
The FFP learned from its observers and received complaints from public members about election irregularities.
Some polling units concealed the photos of the party’s candidates and it caused misunderstanding to voters that the party had been dissolved.
Some errors in vote counting were reported. The party will compile the complaints both from about 10 constituencies in Bangkok and 10 others in the provinces and will submit it to the EC for further investigation. (TNA)
