PHETCHABURI, Jan 28 (TNA) – Five days of the 2019 ox cart
racing in the central province of Phetchaburi have concluded and the champion
is the six-time winning team from Rai Khok and Tha Chang sub-districts.
The annual racing was organised on January 23-27. The team
of Rai Khok and Tha Chang sub-districts decisively defeated competitors in the
final round.
It was the team’s third consecutive year of victory,
resulting in its possession of a royally sponsored trophy. It is the second
royal trophy of which this team has acquired the possession as it has recorded
two consecutive occasions of victories of three years in a row.
Phetchaburi governor Kobchai Boon-arana presented the trophy
from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to representatives of Rai Khok and Tha
Chang sub-districts.
All members of the championship team were jubilant with
their great success earned with their quality practices and teamwork. (TNA)
