PRAKAN, Dec 24 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha has taken a field
trip to Samut Prakan’s Pra Pradaeng district on Monday to follow up progress in
various projects and meet local people.
Gen. Prayut met
people at the Phra Pradaeng market, talking to traders and checking consumer
goods prices.
He was
greeted by students in Santa costumes, singing songs for him. Then, he left the
market to the Lat Pho park to pay homage to the statue of King Rama IX.
His trip today is aimed to follow up progress in many
projects and listen to problems for local officials and residents.
The district promotes agro-ecotourism at Bang Krachao, an
urban forest area, which is one of the famous cycling destinations.
The prime minister also inspected the drainage water management
at the Lat Pho canal, the royal project, initiated by HM King Bhumibol to
resolve flooding in Phra Pradaeng. (TNA)
