BANGKOK, Nov 21 (TNA) – His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun will lead the Un Ai Rak cycling event on Dec 9 to encourage people to exercise and create unity in families and the society.
Air Marshal Pakdee Saengchuto, deputy private secretary to the King told the press conference that HM the King will preside over the opening of the winter festival “Un Ai Rak Khlai Khwam Nao Sainam Haeng Ratthanakosin” at the Royal Plaza on Dec 9 and the fair will run until Jan 19.
After the opening ceremony, HM the King will ride a bicycle, leading participants in the activity from the Royal Plaza to Lad Pho Park in Phra Pradaeng district of Samut Prakan province.
The total distance for the round trip covers 39 kilometres.
People across the country can also join the cycling event, organized simultaneously in each province.
HM the King grants specially-designed T-shirts for all participants. The T-shirts will be distributed at the National Stadium in Bangkok and the city halls in the provinces on Dec 1-2.
