The Royal Thai Police Bureau on Monday opened the road safety center, aiming to cut the number of deaths and injuries from road accidents during the Songkran holiday.
The Land Transport Department has been ordered to strictly regulate food delivery services by motorcyclists as they caused traffic accidents.
Most deaths from road accidents during the Loy Krathong Festival involved motorcycles, said Don’t Drive Drunk Foundation Secretary-General Thaejing Siripanit.
