The Kasikorn Research Center predicted that 20.1 million foreigners would visit Thailand in the second half of this year, showing 7% growth.

The Kasikorn Research Center (KResearch) has estimated that a total of over 25 billion baht should be spent by Bangkokians on their celebrating activities during the Songkran, or the Traditional Thai New Year, Festival 2019 in mid-April, an about 3.6 per cent year-on-year increase.
