TAK, Jan 6 (TNA) – Four Thai female entertainment workers who sneaked back from Myawaddy were confirmed with COVID-19.
The four women returned from work at a casino in Myawaddy town of Myanmar through a natural border crossing point. They were arrested and tested for COVID-19 at Maesot General Hospital in Mae Sot district.
Three of them were asymptomatic. They already recovered from COVID-19 and started their 14-day quarantine. The other was seriously ill and was sent to a negative pressure room right away.
In Mae Sot district, two people recovered from COVID-19 and 17 other cases are at hospital. (TNA)
