RATCABURI, Dec 19 (TNA) – An English tutor was struck and killed by a train while live streaming on TikTok near the Chulalongkorn Bridge railway station in Ratchaburi province on Wednesday.
The victim, 51-year-old Viroj Aranyakhet, was filming himself at the railway track when he was struck by a train. The impact of the collision was so severe that his body was dragged over 100 meters along the tracks, dismembering him.
Viroj was an online English teacher and often documented his cycling activities on his TikTok channel, “Pai Nai Pai Kan Nam Man Mai Tong Sai” (Wherever we go, we don’t need gasoline). He had been live streaming his bike trip when the accident occurred.
Viroj’s wife, Wanwadee Sriphuek, was devastated upon learning of her husband’s death. She told reporters that he had dropped her and their daughter off at school earlier that morning and had mentioned his plans to live stream near the Chulalongkorn Bridge railway station. -819 (TNA)
