BANGKOK, Dec 9 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was grateful to Thai people and relevant organizations for making Bangkok the Best Workation City, according to government spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana.
Mr. Thanakorn said Gen Prayut acknowledged the Best Workation City status of Bangkok and the joint 10th Best Workation Cities recognition for Phuket and Chiang Mai according to the ranking by Holidu, a German website for vacation destinations.
Bangkok was considered as the best place for work with the cost of living that everyone can afford. Besides, tourists of all levels can enjoy activities in the capital including cultural tours, shopping and visits to floating markets.
Holidu also said that most people in Bangkok could speak English and the capital attracted many foreign investors and companies. Therefore, business people and business operators can easily find accommodations in Bangkok. (TNA)
