LOP BURI, Dec 3 (TNA) – An F-5 jet from Udon Thani province crashed in Lop Buri’s Chai Badan district. Its pilot ejected and was injured.
AVM Prapas Sornchaidee, spokesman of the Royal Thai Air Force, said the F-5 plane of Air Unit 4 of Squadron 211 under Wing 21 crashed in the Chai Badan weaponry training range during a low flying training session. Its single pilot ejected and was injured.
The air force commander was informed of the incident. He was concerned about the pilot and ordered the aircraft accident investigation committee of the air force to check the damage at the scene and investigate the cause of the crash, the spokesman said. (TNA)
