BANGKOK, Nov 4 (TNA) – The Criminal Court is in the process of hearing petitions to have bail revoked for four anti-government demonstration leaders.
Public prosecutors asked the court to revoke bail for Arnon Nampa, Panupong “Mike” Jadnok, Panusaya “Rung” Sithijirawattanakul and Chaiamorn Kaewwiboonpan aka Ammy The Bottom Blues.
They faced 11 charges including offences on the monarchy, sedition and violations to a gathering ban and the executive decree on public administration in emergency situations in relation to their protest at Sanam Luang ground on Sept 19-20, 2020.
Prosecutors told the Criminal Court that the four were in breach of their bail conditions.
Today the court heard the witnesses of public prosecutors. Mr. Chaiamorn said he, Ms. Panusaya and Mr. Panupong asked the court to postpone hearing on their cases from today to Nov 18. (TNA)
