BANGKOK, Oct 14 (TNA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul was scheduled to visit four southern border provinces to discuss efforts to contain fast COVID-19 outbreaks in the region.
Natchanon Srikorkuea, deputy spokesman of Mr Anutin’s Bhumjaithai Party, said Mr. Anutin would visit Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat provinces on Oct 14-15 to discuss solutions, lay down policies and inspect COVID-19 outbreaks.
He will also go to vaccination centers and met local administrators, health volunteers and people.
On Oct 14 Mr. Anutin will travel to Hat Yai district of Songkhla where outbreaks continued. Then he will go to Yala to meet medical personnel and inspect “COVID Free Setting” implementation at the Muang Mai market in Muang district of Yala.
On Oct 15, Mr. Anutin will visit Prince of Songkla University in Pattani and meet medical personnel and health volunteers to discuss fast vaccinations for local people. Later he will go to Narathiwat to witness local COVID-19 situations. He will also inspect inoculation at Nara Sikkhalai School in Muang district. (TNA)
