BANGKOK, Aug 11 (TNA) – New Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang arrived in Thailand yesterday to take up his new post.
Ambassador Han remarked that China and Thailand are time-honored good neighbors. Under the special circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two countries and two peoples have been sharing weal and woe and helping each other, interpreting with practical actions the valued kinship of “one family” and the great spirit of a community with a shared future for mankind.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
China has succeeded in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and is striving towards the goal of building a great modern socialist country in all respects. Thailand is concentrating its efforts on national revitalization and actively pushing forward the 20-year National Strategy.
In the context of the vigorous development of China-Thailand relations, I am honored to undertake upon instruction the glorious mission of Chinese Ambassador to Thailand and am resolved to fulfill my duties and responsibilities wholeheartedly.
I look forward to working with friends from all walks of life in Thailand to continue to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in fighting the pandemic, deepening friendly exchanges in various fields, and promoting the China-Thailand comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to new heights.
