BANGKOK, July 9 (TNA) – The country logged 9,276 new COVID-19 cases and 72 more fatalities over the past 24 hours.
Reporting the figures, the Emergency Operations Committee of the Public Health Ministry said the new cases comprised 8,998 cases among general people and 278 among prison inmates.
Since April 1, there have been 288,643 COVID-19 cases. Over the past 24 hours, 3,928 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
Meanwhile, Prof Dr Nithi Mahanonda, secretary-general of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, invited the doctors who had not been vaccinated against COVID-19 and wanted the first jab to register for free inoculation with the academy via https://bit.ly/FormForDoc. (TNA)
