BANGKOK, July 2 (TNA) – The Public Health Ministry is asking three companies for their permission to set up field hospitals in their properties.
Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the negotiation with the private sector to increase beds for COVID patients was necessary because the number of new COVID-19 cases was likely to soar in the next seven days.
He also said the Public Health Ministry laid down effective disease control measures for the home isolation of COVID-19 cases.
Besides, within this week 1,500 beds will be ready for COVID-19 patients at Busarakam Hospital at the Challenger Hall 2 in the IMPACT exhibition and convention complex in Nonthaburi province.
