NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, March 8 (TNA) – The Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) announced its victory in the by-election in Constituency 3 of this southern province. It won in three districts according to unofficial vote results.
PPRP deputy leader Thamanat Prompow and candidate Ayasit Srisuwan announced the victory, saying that PPRP won in Chulabhorn, Cha-uat and Chalerm Prakiat districts by over 2,000 votes. They thanked voters in Constituency 3 for trusting the party and its candidate.
At about 10pm Mr Ayasit obtained 48,701 votes, followed by Democrat candidate Pongsin Senpong who had 44,632 votes. (TNA)
