BANGKOK, Aug 12 (TNA) – Thailand logged five new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019. One of them returned from the United States, another from India and three others from Egypt.
The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration reported that the new cases raised the total to 3,356, 3,169 of whom recovered while the death toll was at 58.
The five new cases were detected during their stay at alternative state quarantine and state quarantine facilities.
Thailand ranked 113th in the world by the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. (TNA)
