BANGKOK, Aug 6 (TNA) – Thailand reported two new imported cases of Covid-19 in state quarantine, raising the total cases to 3,330.
Two new cases are Thai returnees from the U.S., who arrived in Thailand on July 31 and were quarantine in Chon Buri.
They tested positive to coronavirus while being asymptomatic.
Of all confirmed coronavirus cases, 3,148 patients have recovered and 124 others are being treated in hospitals. The death toll remained at 58.
Meanwhile, deputy public health minister, Sathit Pitutecha said at the 19th Annual International Mental Health Conference that after the Covid-19 situation in Thailand has eased, the nationwide mental health survey will be conducted, starting in Rayong on Aug 17.
The survey is aimed at preventing suicide, related to the impacts from Covid-19 such as economic problems and unemployment, he said. (TNA)
