The incident occurred approximately 40 kilometers from Doha, at around 7:30 PM local time on June 23, 2025.
The Embassy reported that at approximately 8:30 PM, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) announced the Qatari Ministry of Defense’s successful interception of the missile targeting Al Udeid Air Base. Authorities confirmed no casualties or injuries. Qatar’s airspace and all state areas are now deemed secure, with the Qatari armed forces prepared to counter any potential threats. The Ministry of Defense advised citizens and residents to continue monitoring official sources for the latest guidance.
