BANGKOK, Dec 26 (TNA) – Concerned about the flooding situation, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is preparing for an urgent visit to the Narathiwat province after the Cabinet meeting today.
Several provinces in the southern region, especially Narathiwat, have faced flooding, with Narathiwat reportedly experiencing the most severe floods.
The Prime Minister will travel to Narathiwat to inspect the flood situation, evaluate the readiness of response agencies, and water management strategies, including drainage.
Additionally, he will address the challenges faced by the local people aiming to provide timely and effective solutions.
However, during this field visit, the Prime Minister does not want to burden agencies and officials with reception duties. Instead, he wants all efforts focused on assisting the affected residents and resolving the situation promptly. -819 (TNA)
