BANGKOK, Aug 24 (TNA) – Pheu Thai list MP Somsak Thepsuthin expects the cabinet lineup will be concluded next week.
He said currently, the seats in key ministries have already been settled while those in smaller ministries are still under consideration. Several political parties are vying for their share.
Speaking about the allocation of ministerial seats, he said according to the new prime minister Srettha Thavisin , the formation of the cabinet is expected to be finalized by the coming week. This is because at present, political parties are still not settled on their choices.
The Prime Minister has to consider suitable individuals for each ministry to drive their respective agendas. Currently, the major ministries are relatively stable, but there are still several smaller ministries that multiple parties are interested in, Mr. Somsak said. (TNA)
