BANGKOK, Oct 12 (TNA) – From Nov 1, the foreigners who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can visit Thailand without being quarantined and from Dec 1 eateries will be able to serve alcohol, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha announced.
In his national TV address at 8.30pm, Gen Prayut said people who arrive by air from at least 10 low-risk countries will not be quarantined after arrival if they have been fully vaccinated against the disease. The low-risk countries include the UK, Singapore, Germany, China and the US.
Upon arrival, visitors will show the written results of their RT-PCR tests conducted before their departure and will undergo another COVID-19 test.
Besides, within Dec 1, the government will allow alcoholic consumption at eateries and will permit the reopening of recreational places and entertainment venues that will be subject to proper health measures. (TNA)
