BANGKOK, Feb 19 (TNA) – The police arrested a Chinese man for allegedly selling firearms online and seized assault rifles, grenades and a large amount of ammunition at a condominium room in Samut Prakan.
Investigators from the technology crime division found that the suspect used an Instagram account “dewaffen” to sell weapons and hid them in his room in Bang Phli district.
The police searched the room at Nouvelle Condominium 9 Thana City with a warrant from the Samut Prakan Provincial Court on Thursday.
They found Wu Qiang, 37 in the room as well as nine assault rifles, two explosives, about 12,000 rounds of ammunition, firearm parts and about five grams of crystal meth or ice”.
The suspect was taken to Bang Kaew police station for legal action. (TNA)
