BANGKOK, Aug 27 (TNA) – National artist and culinary expert MR Thanadsri Svasti died of cancer at the age of 93.
He was pronounced dead at Paolo Hospital at 11.35 a.m. today.
He was admitted to hospital on July 29. According to the doctor’s examination and the PET scan for diagnosing cancer revealed that he suffered the last stage of cancer, starting from the bile ducts and it spread to all over his body.
His family opted for palliative care for him and he finally died after about one month after the diagnosis.
MR Thanadsri was born on May 28, 1926. He was a national artist in the performing arts in 2008 and the founder of “Shell Chuan Shim” food review column and legendary food critic. (TNA)
