BANGKOK, Dec 9 (TNA) – Thai police have dismantled an international sex creator ring operating in the country, arresting seven individuals, including foreigners and Thai nationals, for producing and distributing explicit content online.
In a coordinated operation, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) busted the network which was using Thailand as a base to produce and distribute pornography worldwide. The suspects, who included a British national, a German, a Serbian, a Russian, and three Thais, were arrested in various locations across Thailand.
The ring allegedly targeted both Thai women and transgender individuals, producing explicit content that was then sold on various online platforms. Some of the content involved tourists engaging in sexual acts with locals.
The arrested individuals played various roles from creating content to promoting it on social media platforms such as OnlyFans. Some of the suspects had amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on their online platforms.
During interrogations, five of the suspects fully confessed to the charges against them. However, the British national arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport, maintained his innocence. He claimed that while he did record the videos, he did not personally distribute them but instead sent them to a friend abroad for uploading. Similarly, the German suspect denied all charges. -819 (TNA)
